| Welcome to my website!  | My name is Kate Saavedra and I am a graduate of the University of Arizona's School of Journalism in Tucson, Ariz., with minors in studio art and art history. Although I focused on print journalism during my undergraduate studies, I gained experience in video and podcast reporting through my work as Online & Multimedia Editor at both the Arizona Daily Wildcat and the Tombstone Epitaph. I have also gained experience in copyediting, design, photography, illustration and website management through various other positions. I am searching for a job related to my degree. I am interested in all forms of news delivery and I strive to merge my artistic talents with journalistic storytelling. I am most interested in creating compelling story packages that marry online and print products. |
